RSG Geldsake, developed by Moneyweb for the acclaimed Afrikaans station Radio Sonder Grense (Radio Without Borders) from SABC, has secured the esteemed title of Best Business and Finance Show at the 2024 Telkom SA Radio Awards, held on Saturday night.
This cherished program is hosted by Moneyweb editor Ryk van Niekerk and is recognized as the largest business radio show in South Africa. Tune in at 6pm on weekdays on RSG 102fm.

During a gala ceremony in Johannesburg, show producer Palesa Matlala accepted the award, alongside Moneyweb’s radio manager Edward Masache and fellow producer Kaldora Naidoo from SAfm Market Update with Moneyweb.
“This honor underscores the outstanding efforts of the RSG Geldsake team,” stated Van Niekerk.
“Their daily commitment to delivering an exceptional business show with highly regarded guests is evident. I am extremely proud of the team, and their hard work and exceptional skills truly deserve this acknowledgment.”
In addition to Van Niekerk and Matlala, the core team behind RSG Geldsake includes studio engineer Piet Botha.
“Claiming the award for Best Business and Finance Show marks a pivotal milestone for the RSG Geldsake team,” commented Mosehla Tsebe, Moneyweb’s operations director, following the awards ceremony.
“I have witnessed the steadfast dedication and relentless effort of the Moneyweb team over the years. This accolade is a true testament to their passion and excellence,” she added.
