A passionate MANCHESTER UNITED fan asserts he was “removed” from the FA Cup draw at Old Trafford after raising his concerns about the club’s skyrocketing ticket prices during a live BBC segment.
The third-round draw occurred at the home ground of the defending champions Man Utd on Monday night.
Ruben Amorim’s squad was matched up against the 14-time record holders Arsenal in an exciting encounter at the Emirates Stadium.
Nonetheless, one dedicated fan seized the moment during the draw to relay a message to the club’s management.
Current ticket prices at Old Trafford have soared to an astonishing £66 per game.
Moreover, the club has eliminated concessions for children and seniors, resulting in protests before their 4-0 victory against Everton on Sunday.
While BBC host Kelly Somers was presenting the FA Cup draw with the trophy beside her, she was accompanied by supporters of Man Utd.
As she addressed the camera, one attendee displayed a phone bearing the message: “£66 thieves”.
The protestor later mentioned on X: “I was kicked out for this, by the way.”
SunSport has reached out to Man Utd for their remarks on the matter.

Man Utd’s Supporters’ Trust has also voiced their frustration regarding the increased ticket prices.
Since assuming control of football operations at Man Utd, co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has enacted several cost-saving initiatives.
He has dismissed 250 employees, stopped payments for Sir Alex Ferguson’s £2 million annual ambassadorial salary, canceled the holiday party, and removed company credit cards and private drivers.
Additionally, he has put an end to staff lunches, accommodations, extra tickets, and post-match celebrations.
In addition to the much-anticipated clash between Arsenal and Man Utd, other notable third-round matchups include Manchester City vs Salford, Tamworth vs Tottenham, and Everton vs Peterborough – the latter of which may see Ashley Young face his son Tyler.
All matches are set for the weekend of January 11, 2025.
The 32 teams that succeed in the third round will be awarded £115,000, while those that lose will receive £25,000.
All games will conclude on the same day, as replays have been abolished, with extra time and penalties to determine a winner if needed.
