Durban – A man tragically lost his life in a car accident on the M1 West Bound near the Unit 3 offramp in Chatsworth, located south of Durban.
ALS Paramedics responded to the incident shortly after 16:30 on Friday, December 20, 2024, as per spokesperson Garrith Jamieson.
“Upon reaching the site, paramedics found a single vehicle that had inexplicably veered off the road and lost control,” Jamieson reported.
“They discovered the driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, inside with severe injuries.”
“Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done for the man, believed to be in his thirties, and he was declared dead on the scene.”
Jamieson mentioned that the details surrounding the crash remain unclear.
The South African Police Service was on-site to assist.
