Fans took to social media to express their disappointment after tuning in for the opening match featuring Karel Sedlacek and Rhys Griffin.

The PDCTV broadcast commenced at 12:30 PM, but a significant number of viewers reported a complete absence of sound throughout the broadcast.

After 25 minutes of silence, the PDC issued a statement on X.

The announcement stated, “We are aware of a sound issue on PDCTV and are actively working with our providers to resolve it.”

“We thank you for your patience.”

However, as the event unfolded at the renowned Ally Pally, frustrated fans who had purchased access became increasingly upset as the problem continued.

One fan expressed their discontent on X: “Patience? Come on… the stream has been live for 25 minutes without sound, and it took this long to issue a statement? Time for refunds, this is ridiculous. I woke up at 6 AM in the States to catch this… I want to hear it too.”

Another commented: “Are you planning to turn the sound on? 20 minutes of silence… the matches are starting, and there’s still no audio… what’s going on?”

A third user insisted: “Please fix the sound issues on PDC TV.”

A fifth individual remarked: “Total farce. I’ve never encountered an event with such severe operational problems. PDCTV sorely needs a thorough overhaul.”

Darts enthusiasts are eagerly looking forward to an exciting Super Saturday at the Palace, which features a total of eight matches.

Young star Luke Littler is set to make his tournament debut tonight, facing off against Ryan Meikle.

“I’m not looking to slow him down or apply any strategies.

“My goal is to simply relax and showcase my best performance.

“Honestly, I don’t see any weaknesses in him. I think he’s incredible.”
