Transaction Capital’s unbundling encounters hurdles

Exploring Section 18A of the tax code
In South Africa, donations tax allows an exemption for the first R100,000. Nonetheless, Section 18A of the tax code permits a 10% deduction on donations made to recognized public benefit organizations. Future of the rand against the dollar
This year, the rand has seen fluctuations, yet overall it has shown only slight weakening. I discussed projections for the rand with Petri Redelinghuys from Herenya Capital Advisors. He noted that R16.82/$ may be achievable, but it’s crucial to keep an eye on the US$ Index (DXY), as many rand movements are linked to dollar variations.
