Durban – An incident involving gunfire on Riverside Road in Durban North has led to the death of one person.
As reported by ALS Paramedics Medical Services, the event took place shortly after 07:00 on Saturday morning, December 28, 2024.
Upon their arrival, ALS Paramedics noted that officers from the South African Police Service and other security personnel were already on the scene.
“Paramedics were directed to a male thought to be in his 30s who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds,” indicated ALS Paramedics.
“Unfortunately, there was nothing more that paramedics could do, and he was declared dead at the scene.”
At this time, the circumstances surrounding the deadly shooting remain unclear.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
