Coleen Rooney Appears Upset as She Watches Everton’s Defeat Beside Husband Wayne, Whose Job May Be in Jeopardy

COLEEN ROONEY watched Everton’s defeat against Nottingham Forest, while her husband Wayne also experienced a loss at Oxford.

The runner-up from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, 38, attended the match at Goodison Park to see Wayne’s cherished club lose 2-0 to a strong Forest side.

Coleen appeared downcast while sitting with her sons Kai, 15, Klay, 11, and Cass, 6, at the Merseyside venue – just weeks after losing to Danny Jones in the jungle.

After returning from Australia in time for Christmas, she chose to take her children to the Everton game instead of attending Plymouth’s match against Oxford on Sunday.

Her mood darkened further when she found out Wayne’s Plymouth team had lost again.

The Championship team suffered a 2-0 defeat at Oxford on Saturday.

This marked their ninth consecutive match without a win, which has sparked serious concerns regarding relegation.

Plymouth is currently in last place in the league, now four points adrift of safety.

There are growing questions regarding Rooney’s job stability in Devon.

Following the loss to Oxford, Rooney told BBC Radio Devon: “We didn’t create enough opportunities and couldn’t prevent them from scoring.”

“The first goal came from a cross, which is disappointing because we’ve been emphasizing the importance of stopping those and improving our defense.”

“The second goal resulted from a counter-attack where we failed to adequately defend in a one-on-one situation, and that cost us.”

Wayne Rooney’s job under threat after Frank Lampard’s Coventry decisively beat his ten-man Plymouth team 4-0

“I expected our team to perform better today, but unfortunately, we came away with a defeat.”

Rooney started at Plymouth last summer but has only managed to achieve five wins out of 25 games in charge.
