Ruben Amorim Urges Manchester United Executives to Expedite Viktor Gyokeres Transfer; Summer Delay Is Not Acceptable

RUBEN AMORIM is reportedly urging Manchester United to acquire Viktor Gyokeres IMMINENTLY.

The manager at Old Trafford is expressed to be increasingly concerned about United’s insufficient attacking power, prompting him to pursue a significant investment this month rather than delaying until the summer.

Gyokeres, 26, is under contract with Sporting Lisbon until 2028, featuring a release clause estimated at around £80 million.

According to sources, Amorim is willing to part ways with both Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee as part of a significant overhaul of his attacking roster.

Gyokeres is viewed as the leading contender to fill those potential gaps.

The Swedish striker has delivered an impressive performance this season, scoring 26 goals in 24 matches.

This includes a stunning hat-trick as Sporting defeated Manchester City 4-1 in the Champions League two months ago.

Reports suggest that Sporting would entertain offers between £62 million and £70 million for Gyokeres at the end of the current season.

If Manchester United makes a solid bid this month, it’s likely that a minimum of £80 million would be necessary to satisfy the Portuguese club’s demands.

Amorim may also look to strengthen his defensive lineup, particularly at left-back.

United is rumored to have eyes on Benfica’s Alvaro Fernandez, though the £25 million buy-back clause for the 21-year-old won’t take effect until next summer.

Meanwhile, £86 million acquisition Antony seems likely to be leaving as United, currently in 14th place, aims to revamp their squad.

Ruben Amorim says Man Utd face a relegation battle

Former club Ajax, Fenerbahce, and Real Betis are monitoring the Brazilian winger closely.

A loan transfer this January is definitely a possibility for the 24-year-old.
