JOHN DALY demonstrated that with each new year, his bold spirit remains unchanged.
The renowned golfer, now at 58 years of age, has always embraced the spotlight.
Daly welcomed 2025 in his signature style – with a swing of the club and a frosty beer in hand.
The original clip, shared on his Instagram story, captured the American golfer teeing off by striking a golf ball across a street toward a line of buildings while puffing on a cigarette.
Fortunately, he looked back to check for any oncoming cars before making the shot, much to the delight of his cheering friends.
Daly, with his iconic grey hair, bushy beard, and flashy gold shoes, celebrated with high-fives from his friends.
He described the video on his Instagram story: “Teein’ it into 2025…”
The video featured his hit track, “Hit It Hard.”
Daly later posted another clip.
This time, he was seen sitting at a table with friends and his 21-year-old son John II, as they popped open cans of beer.

The group punctured their cans and guzzled down the beverages through the openings, a technique known as shotgunning.
However, Daly lost the challenge and humorously remarked: “Yeah, I lost by a lot… kinda expected.”
The Lion boasts two major championship victories from his golf career – the 1991 PGA and the 1995 Open.
He maintains his love for golf both on the course and in daily life.
Last December, Daly participated in the PNC Championship alongside his son John II, where the notable duo of Tiger and Charlie Woods also competed.
The Dalys celebrated their win at the event in 2021, while the Woods team finished second in a playoff at last month’s event, as Bernhard and Jason Langer secured their sixth championship win.
