ILLICO DE COTTE (1.45 Chepstow, nap)
This horse has made a remarkable impact since moving to fences, achieving a debut victory at Carlisle and following it up with a robust third-place finish last time out. The horse that won and the one that came second in that race have both since triumphantly crossed the line, and this seven-year-old has a lot to offer under the mentorship of Harry and Dan Skelton.
MONMIRAL (2.05 Plumpton, nb)
Following a strong performance in a Grade 2 race at Newbury 37 days ago, he returns to handicap racing. Trainer Paul Nicholls’s eight-year-old possesses excellent stamina for this distance and can handle varying ground conditions. He secured victory in the Pertemps Final last year and has the potential to outshine his rivals with Harry Cobden aboard.
KATATE DORI (12.15 Chepstow, treble)
This horse demonstrated remarkable skill when he clinched a victory on his chase debut at Exeter with a 12-length lead on New Year’s Day. Trainer Sam Thomas is rapidly advancing him through the ranks, and he remains a strong contender despite carrying a penalty.
AS THE FELLA SAYS (1.35 Plumpton, Lucky 15)
He showcased significant potential by finishing second on his debut at Warwick last month. Nicky Henderson’s six-year-old is well positioned to complete our Lucky 15.
