Mbombela (Nelspruit) – The top-performing Grade 12 learner in Mpumalanga will be awarded a brand new Toyota Vitz when the exam results are revealed next week.
“The 2024 provincial top Grade 12 learner will receive a comprehensive bursary from the provincial government, a remarkable array of rewards, and a fully sponsored new vehicle,” announced Mpumalanga Education MEC Cathy Dlamini on Friday, January 10, 2025.
“This is a remarkable acknowledgment of the power found in dedication, hard work, and persistent effort.
“It highlights that with passion and commitment, achievement isn’t just an aspiration – it can indeed be a reality.
“Let this serve as a reminder that excellence is within reach, and as you strive for greatness, the rewards are limitless.”
Offering a sponsored vehicle to the province’s leading Matric achiever has become a treasured tradition, significantly encouraging Matric candidates to give their best effort.
The recipient of the car will be revealed during the official provincial results ceremony in Middleburg, Mpumalanga, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
