They Never Bring Me Bread

Actress and musician Simphiwe Simz Ngema is undeterred by the criticism she receives online. In a recent episode of the Mommy Diaries podcast hosted by Mapaseka Koetle, the former Muvhango star discussed her method of dealing with negativity on social media, clarifying that trolls do not diminish her joy or impact her life.

Ngema, who shares two children with Zimbabwean model and musician Tino Chinyani, has frequently faced public scrutiny. Speculation surrounding her relationship with Tino has led to claims that he is seeking wealthy widows for financial gain.

Additionally, Ngema has faced criticism from some judgmental users online due to having both children outside of marriage.

Nevertheless, Ngema stands firm. She addressed her detractors, saying: “Social media isn’t real. It gives a misleading impression that everyone opposes you, yet they are unaware of your true self. They don’t even provide for me, so why should I be concerned?”
