Tommy Fury’s Comeback to Boxing
Tommy Fury is gearing up for a return to the boxing ring with Misfits Boxing, although this could put a potential rematch with Jake Paul in jeopardy.
The former Love Island star, who rose to fame in 2019, was set to face Darren Till, who has pulled out of the fight due to worries about receiving a KICK to the head from the ex-UFC fighter.
At 32 years old, Till will now take on Anthony Taylor, a 35-year-old who has made the switch from MMA to boxing, at Misfits 20 in Manchester.
In the meantime, Fury may still have a contract requiring him to fight next for Misfits, the celebrity crossover boxing promotion co-founded by KSI.
KSI’s manager, Mams Taylor, who is also a co-founder of Misfits, was questioned about Fury’s dedication to boxing on their platform.
Taylor mentioned to The Mirror: “We’re working on it. We’re finding the best way to make sure everyone is happy with the result.”
At 25 years old, Fury scored a controversial win against KSI, who is 31, in October 2023.
However, he has yet to step back into the ring since withdrawing against Till, although Taylor remains hopeful that Fury will make his next appearance with Misfits.
