Durban – The number of church members who lost their lives in a bus accident on Sunday along the N2 between Mandeni and Stanger has increased to eight.
The bus was carrying church members from Richards Bay to Shakaskraal when it crashed due to a tire failure.

Initially, it was reported that six individuals had died, but an update from local authorities revealed that one more person had passed away from their injuries.

Shortly after that, the eighth victim also lost their battle for life.
KwaZulu-Natal Transport and Human Settlements MEC Siboniso Duma has expressed his sincere condolences to the families impacted by this tragedy.
