
Two suspects who recently assaulted a petrol attendant at a BP station, as shown in a viral video, have been arrested.

The individuals, aged 25 and 29, were detained on Thursday and face charges of intent to inflict grievous bodily harm and crimen injuria.

According to police spokesperson Anelisiwe Manyana, the incident occurred when the petrol attendant asked the driver of a white Golf to move his vehicle to the parking area.

The attacker started hurling insults at the attendant and, along with an accomplice, launched an assault against him.
