Linyi Product Exhibition at Vietnam Expo Enhances Sino-Vietnamese Trade Ties

In terms of trade with Vietnam, the bilateral exchange continued its steady growth, with the total import and export volume reaching 4.77 billion yuan ($664.97 million). The trade structure between the two regions displayed significant complementary aspects, with Linyi primarily exporting wood veneer, plywood, and hand tools to Vietnam while importing aluminum alloys, chemical raw materials, and natural rubber latex.

When considering the entire ASEAN region, Linyi saw substantial growth in imports and exports in 2024, achieving a total trade volume of 40.15 billion yuan, which represents a 16.2 percent year-on-year increase.

Looking ahead, Linyi is set to further bolster economic and trade interactions with Vietnam and ASEAN countries, widen areas of cooperation, enhance collaboration levels, and achieve mutually beneficial and win-win development.
