Kelci Bowers has officially departed from BOURNEMOUTH this summer.
The 22-year-old defender has left the South Coast club after a total of 70 appearances in the team’s red and black colors.
Bowers initially joined the Cherries on loan from Portsmouth during the 2023-24 season before transitioning to a permanent contract.
Throughout her tenure at Bournemouth, she formed a bond with men’s team standout Marcos Senesi.
With Senesi confirmed to exit the Vitality Stadium this summer, fans speculate that the couple may find themselves playing together at the same club next season.
Senesi, aged 29, is anticipated to sign with Tottenham, which recently announced the free transfer of Andy Robertson as well.

One fan shared on X: “Another couple’s transfer could be on the way.”
Another commented: “Joining her boyfriend at Tottenham.”
A third added: “Catch you at Spurs.”
This potential move recalls the scenario involving Douglas Luiz and Alisha Lehmann, who both transferred to Juventus from Aston Villa while in a relationship.
While a move to Spurs may seem uncertain for Bowers, especially since Bournemouth Women competes in the third tier, the North London club recently finished fifth in the WSL.
Martin Ho’s squad has ambitions for European competition and has already secured the addition of PFA Player of the Year nominee Kirsty Hanson this summer.
Upon her farewell from Bournemouth, Bowers expressed on Instagram: “I’ve genuinely valued my time at AFC Bournemouth and would like to extend my THANK YOU to my teammates, our supporters, and everyone at the club. Your encouragement made this journey unforgettable.
“I’m grateful for all the personal and professional growth I’ve achieved here and for the opportunities I’ve received – special thanks to all of you.
“I’m lucky to have met my partner here, and I will always hold dear my time here along with your unwavering support!
“Now, it’s time to embrace my next chapter.”
Bowers concluded her message with a white heart emoji.
Senesi responded to her post: “So proud of you, love you!!”
