We’re joined this week by Sipho Mbadaliga, chairperson of the Youth in Property Association (Yipa). This organization has been active for nearly a decade, and we previously interviewed its former chair, Monedi Lefakane, in 2021.
Lefakane has since relocated to the United States and is currently working in New York City.

Mbadaliga, also an alumnus of the University of Cape Town, has been at the helm of Yipa since February of last year. Prior to this position, he was the organization’s financial director. His professional experience includes a tenure at Standard Bank, and he holds a CA qualification.
