Rondo Heat Battery: SCG unveiled ASEAN’s first Rondo Heat Battery at the Ta Luang Cement Plant. In partnership with Rondo Energy, this innovative thermal energy storage system converts intermittent renewable energy into ultra-high temperature thermal energy, reaching up to 1,500°C. With an energy recovery rate of up to 97% and a lifespan exceeding 40 years, this technology provides continuous clean heat, supporting the decarbonization of industrial manufacturing processes.
