Jacob Devaney, the talented young midfielder for MANCHESTER UNITED, is keen to secure his place in Michael Carrick’s plans this season as the team prepares during preseason.

“Whether that’s here at United next season or at another club, my primary aim is to represent Man United weekly.”

“If a loan is necessary to gain further vital experience like I did at St Mirren, I’m prepared to do that.
“On the other hand, if I’m learning from the best here at Manchester United, we’ll see how things develop.”
Devaney, primarily positioned as a No.6 or No.8, drew attention during the 1-0 defeat to Wrexham by effectively neutralizing the threat from EFL veteran Kieffer Moore.
