Following Pep Guardiola’s departure, MANCHESTER CITY is auctioning off items from his office.
The legendary manager concluded his tenure at the club after the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Throughout his decade with the Cityzens, Guardiola, 55, achieved every possible honor.
This summer, he chose to leave rather than fulfill the last year of his contract.
At present, Man City is looking to take advantage of Guardiola’s exit by auctioning off his office belongings.
The club has announced that among the auction items are his whistle and a COLLECTION OF INCENSE listed on their website.

The auction is expected to close in five days, with fans already placing bids on various items.
Other auctioned items include Guardiola’s training apparel, a trinket set, and his coffee cup set.
The lamp and chair from his office are also part of the auction.
The club seems eager to empty the space, with only the desk, a sofa, and a clothing rack remaining unsold.

Bids currently reflect £282 for the whistle and £571 for the trinkets as of now.
The incense collection has received a bid of £172, while the office lamp stands at £200.
Fans have expressed surprise on social media regarding the decision to sell these items.
One user remarked, “This is what Facebook Marketplace is for.”
Another commented, “Fair enough, let’s fund Rodri’s extension.”
A third noted, “I wanted the couch, but it’s not available.”
A fourth user humorously stated, “Is this to finance transfers?”
Yet another added, “Really? These should be kept in glass cases for future generations.”

The club has appointed former Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca as Guardiola’s successor for the 2026/27 season.
Maresca is already acquainted with the club, having previously worked as Guardiola’s assistant on two occasions.
He has made significant enhancements to the City squad, including the prominent signing of Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest for £116 million.
Additionally, the club has secured three young talents: Pierce Charles from Sheffield Wednesday, Jeremy Monga from Leicester City, and Mathys Detourbet from Troyes.
While Guardiola was initially expected to take a sabbatical from football, reports during the World Cup suggested he had reached a verbal agreement to manage England before Thomas Tuchel’s appointment.
If he had accepted that role, he would have replaced Sir Gareth Southgate, but he ultimately decided against it.
He is now in talks regarding a possible management position with the Italian national team.
