ARSENAL is encountering a significant setback in their transfer plans, as Real Madrid is reportedly presenting Vinicius Junior with an enticing new contract.
The Gunners are eager to finalize a major transfer for the Brazilian winger, who is currently in the last year of his contract at the Bernabeu.

According to reports from The Athletic, Real Madrid is making significant efforts to retain Vinicius.
They have allegedly presented a robust proposal to highlight his value to the team.
However, it remains uncertain whether this new offer meets Vinicius’s expectation of £25 million annually, which encompasses base salary, bonuses, and an earlier discussed renewal incentive.
The 26-year-old Brazilian had a discussion with Real Madrid’s management on Wednesday, which included general director Jose Angel Sanchez and chief scout Juni Calafat.
Previously, there were discrepancies between both parties regarding financial expectations, particularly concerning the renewal bonus.
Nonetheless, it appears that Wednesday’s talks made some headway, with Real enhancing their offer.
Vinicius is now faced with a choice: accept the contract extension, transfer to Arsenal, or let his current deal lapse next summer.
Los Blancos are eager to avoid the latter scenario, as that would permit the prominent player to leave for free in 2027.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s leadership has given the green light for their negotiators to pursue Vinicius’s transfer.
