TRAGICALLY, a young boxer from Mexico has passed away at the age of 26, just days after slipping into a coma following a match.
Arturo “Lobito” Torres battled Gilberto Garcia on September 19 in Mexicali.

Garcia secured a technical knockout in the seventh round.
Immediately following the referee’s decision, Lobito collapsed in the ring.
He was rushed to a hospital where he underwent emergency surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain and was later placed in a coma.
Sadly, he was pronounced dead on Friday.
